Rhonda McKamey has been in the fitness field for over 20 years, currently working as the Director of Healthy Living at the Kennett Area YMCA, Her love of dance started her journey with fitness with her introduction to Jazzercise and has continued ever since. Her background includes a wide spectrum and certifications in the following: BodyPump, BodyCombat, BodyAttack, GRIT, Sh’Bam, CXWORX, Tai Chi, Kickboxing, Bender Ball Pilates, Older Adults, Kids andTeens, Strength Conditioning, Aqua, STRIDE, Strength and Weight Training, Zumba, Kettlebell, Cardio Step, Cycling, Pilates SilverSneakers, Aerobics and Barbell Coach Level 1. Her quest to instill fitness, movement and passion took her to her second love: teaching. She has been a YMCA of the USA Trainer since 2002 serving in the capacity to train others in Pilates, Cycling, Foundations of Group Exercise, Lifestyle Principles and other CECs’ from Resistance Band Training to Interval Training and everything in between. She is also a Trainer with American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid. She continues to bring her passion, motivation, and inspiration every time she teaches.
